5 Reasons You Should Be Dating A Tree Planter

Tree planters are some of our favorite people in the world. Without tree planters, our goal to plant 1 billion trees by 2030 wouldn’t be possible! So it goes without saying that we think tree planters are the best people to date. Looking for a special someone this Valentine’s Day? Here are 5 reasons you should pick a tree planter.

They love the outdoors

Tree planters don’t choose to plant trees because it’s an easy job or because it’ll make you rich. Tree planters have an innate love for the outdoors unmatched by most professions. They have a dedication to a protection of the natural world, which makes them more nurturing in other aspects of life as well.

Being a couch potato can be nice from time to time, but being outdoors carries with it so many benefis. Spending time outside makes you healthier, happier, more focused, and more creative. Dating an outdoor enthusiast helps make sure you get out into nature to enjoy all of its benefits!

They stick around through hard times

Planting trees can be an extraordinarily difficult job. The hours are long, the elements can be harsh, and the blisters, let’s not even talk about the blisters! But that a tree planter finishes a season and signs up for the next shows that they’re the kind of person who can handle the hard times if the end result is growing something bigger than them. Relationships are hard work too, and being with someone who demonstrates the willingness to put in the work on difficult things means you won’t be in it alone.

They are independent

Tree planters do belong to big crews, which often means they’re good at working with different people from different backgrounds, but the work of tree planting is often a lonely one. It is uncommon when tree planting to be paired up with another planter. This leaves them alone with their thoughts more often than not.

Dating someone who enjoys their alone time means it’s easier to avoid dependence-issues. It’s healthy to be able to break away, even from someone you love, for a bit and enjoy some solitary time.

They are nurturing

Like I’ve said once already, tree planters aren’t in it to make a ton of money or to have an easy job. They work hard to see something grow: a whole new forest! Tree planters are naturally more nurturing people who want to see new things sprout and grow tall and strong. That includes a relationship with you!

They put in the work

Have I mentioned yet that tree planting is hard work? When the benefits are clear, tree planters will always put in the work. And I’d say there’s a pretty clear benefit to dating you! If you’re willing to put in the work to make your relationship great, they will too!
